About San Diego Fertility Center

San Diego Fertility Center (SDFC) was founded in 1989 and has since helped bring over 20,000 babies into the world. An internationally recognized pioneer in fertility treatment, SDFC consistently ranks among the top fertility clinics in the nation for patient care and outcomes. The clinic is part of the Ivy Fertility network and operates across Southern California with locations in Del Mar, Temecula, and Mission Valley, plus a consultation office in New York City.

SDFC's embryology laboratory was the first in San Diego to offer preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and holds national certification from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) — placing it among an elite group of reproductive labs meeting the highest standards of excellence in the United States. The clinic has been recognized by Newsweek as one of "America's Best Fertility Clinics" from 2023 to 2026, and by San Diego Magazine as the "Best Fertility Clinic" in 2023–2024.

SDFC is particularly renowned for its donor egg IVF and gestational surrogacy programs. Its frozen embryo transfer (FET) success rates significantly exceed national averages across all age groups — for patients aged 38–40, SDFC's success rate is 2.4 times the national average. The clinic has deep expertise in working with surrogacy agencies like New Grace Fertility to coordinate seamless gestational carrier cycles for international patients.
