Dan Ruo International IVF Center (丹若国际生殖医院泰国中心) is the Thailand branch of the Dan Ruo International group, which was founded by Dr. Peng Wenlin — one of China's first-generation third-generation IVF embryologists with over 40 years of experience. Dr. Peng established the Cambodia center in Phnom Penh in 2018 through a partnership between Macau Ivy Medical Center (澳门常青藤医疗中心) and US-based Yunsida Medical Group. The Thailand center, established in mid-2024, brings the same US-standard embryology laboratory and world-class clinical team to Bangkok — one of Asia's most accessible and travel-friendly medical tourism destinations.
Located on the 20th floor of the Kian Gwan Building II in central Bangkok's CBD, the clinic features a 380-square-meter sky garden and interiors designed in a serene wabi-sabi aesthetic. The laboratory is built to US standards with state-of-the-art embryo culture and micromanipulation systems. The team includes 3 clinical PhDs and 4 senior embryologists — all full-time residents, not visiting consultants — ensuring consistent, high-quality care for every patient. Dr. Xue Songguo, PhD
Dr. Xue holds a PhD in Immunology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has 25 years of experience as a senior embryologist. He trained in IVM technology in Italy (2009) and egg freezing in the US (2010), and previously served as Deputy Director of Shanghai East Hospital's Reproductive Center. He is the inventor of the Cryopiece single-sperm freezing technology (which produced China's first Cryopiece IVF baby) and holds 18 China-US patents. He also invented the laser-free biopsy needle for PGT. Since July 2024, he has served as Executive Director and Lab Director at Dan Ruo Thailand.
Dr. Jariya Lorwatthanasirikul, MD
Dr. Jariya earned her medical degree from Srinakarinwirot University in Bangkok and is a certified specialist in reproductive medicine with over 20 years of IVF clinical experience. She has served as Medical Director at leading Thai fertility centers including Safe Fertility Center, Stork A.R.T Clinic, Conrady A.R.T Clinic, and Siam Fertility Clinic. She is a member of the Thai Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Thai Reproductive Medicine Society. Dr. Jariya specializes in mild stimulation protocols, endometrial preparation, and genetic screening, and is known for her gentle, patient-centered approach to care.
Nawaporn Duangprapat, BSc
Nawaporn graduated from Thailand's prestigious Chulalongkorn University with a degree in Medical Technology and Molecular Biology. With over 10 years of clinical embryology experience at leading Bangkok fertility centers — including SAFE Fertility Clinic, Smile IVF, and Siam Fertility — she has been the Embryology Lab Director at Dan Ruo Thailand since March 2024. She is a member of the Thai Embryologist Association, Thai Reproductive Medicine Society, and ESHRE.
Dr. Peng Wenlin, PhD
Dr. Peng is one of China's first-generation third-generation IVF embryologists, with experience spanning Zhongshan University First Hospital, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, and New Hope Fertility Center New York. He founded Macau Ivy Medical Center in 2014 and established Dan Ruo International in 2018. He holds 18 US-China patents and invented the next-generation egg cryopreservation solution.
